Product Description
Horizons Gray is a 12x24 porcelain tile with a concrete look in a matte finish, 8.5 mm (5/16 inch) thick.
Horizons mixes a concrete surface with the grain of stone. The rectified, colored body porcelain comes in Ivory, Gray, Graphite and White, from 24x48 to 4x12, with a square mosaic, a 4 inch hexagon and a bullnose.
Horizons Gray 12x24 works in a straight stack, a one-third offset or a herringbone on walls and floors.
The matte face has no sheen, so Horizons Gray does not throw glare and keeps footprints and water spots out of sight. The color runs through the body of the tile, so a chip shows the same tone instead of a light clay base. Shade variation is moderate: tone and pattern change from piece to piece, as in natural material. Del Conca rates the face at 0.42 DCOF wet or better, which meets the ANSI A326.3 minimum for level interior floors that get wet.
Rectified edges, ground square after firing, allow a tight grout joint. Sold by the box: one box covers 15.5 sq ft in 8 pieces and weighs about 61 lb.
