The surface reads as a mirror under direct light while keeping the stone's character visible. You receive full slabs in random sizes that a fabricator will cut to your layout. Design
Black stone with random dimensions
The black background carries subtle veining that shifts across the face. The polished surface reflects light and deepens the stone's tone. Each slab arrives with its own size and unique markings. Variation between slabs is normal and expected. The finish shows wear sooner than a honed option. Slabs are sold in random sizes and are cut to order for countertops, shelves and large-format walls. Stone Tile Depot ships from its own US warehouses; samples of most tiles can be ordered from the product page.

Where to use it
This stone works on shower walls, residential countertops, commercial interior walls and residential interior walls. You should seal it in kitchens and wet rooms. A licensed fabricator templates and installs the slab. The stone is harder than marble and holds a polish well. It resists etching far better than marble. Open the batch list to see the sizes in stock. We do not deliver slabs to a job site. Delivery is by A-frame truck within 50 miles of the warehouse holding the slab, and by crated LTL freight beyond that.
