Product Description
Ivorynn Stone Riverstone Grey takes shape as a 24x48 matte porcelain tile with a cool gray travertine look. Its stone imagery includes flowing vein detail, and a raised digital surface gives that detail a corresponding tactile contour. The rectified tile is 9 mm, or 3/8 inch, thick.
The long, large format extends the veining across generous areas, reducing the frequency of individual tile breaks within a room. Matte texture diffuses light rather than producing a glossy reflection. Because the shade rating is V4, pronounced changes in gray tone and pattern should be expected across the surface. Approved applications encompass residential and commercial interior floors and walls, including backsplashes and shower walls in bathrooms and kitchens. IW status covers level indoor floors subject to wet conditions.
This porcelain has water absorption of no more than 0.5%, the threshold for an impervious body that absorbs almost no water. Breaking strength reaches at least 425 pounds, substantially above the 250-pound ANSI floor-tile benchmark. Mohs hardness is 7, providing resistance to scratches from grit and sand. The wet DCOF value is at least 0.42, meeting the cited standard for level interior wet floors. Additional properties include Class E chemical resistance, frost resistance, and thermal shock resistance.
Boxes are priced per square foot and contain 2 tiles. One box covers 15.49 square feet and weighs 67 pounds. The Riverstone Grey line also includes a 16x32 tile, 3 inch hexagon mosaic, 2x2 mosaic, and 4x12 bullnose.
