Product Description
Nature Calacatta Vagli is a 12x24 porcelain tile with a marble look in a matte finish, 8.5 mm (5/16 inch) thick.
Nature reproduces eight well-known marbles, among them Calacatta Gold, Statuario, Carrara, Taj Mahal and the dark Belvedere. The rectified, colored body porcelain runs from 24x48 to 4x12 with mosaics and bullnose; four of the colors also come polished in 24x48.
Nature Calacatta Vagli 12x24 works in a straight stack, a one-third offset or a herringbone on walls and floors.
Nature Calacatta Vagli has a matte, low-glare face that hides daily wear better than a shiny one. The color runs through the body of the tile, so a chip shows the same tone instead of a light clay base. Shade variation is moderate: tone and pattern change from piece to piece, as in natural material. Del Conca rates the face at 0.42 DCOF wet or better, which meets the ANSI A326.3 minimum for level interior floors that get wet.
Rectified edges, ground square after firing, allow a tight grout joint. Each box holds 8 pieces, 15.5 sq ft, about 61 lb, and orders round up to full boxes.
Also in Nature Calacatta Vagli: 24x24 tile, 24x48 tile, 4x12 tile, 4x24 bullnose, hexagon mosaic, square mosaic.
Nature is produced at Del Conca USA's plant in Loudon, Tennessee, and ships from the factory.
