Product Description
Nature Statuario Bianco is a 4x12 porcelain tile with a marble look in a matte finish, 8.5 mm (5/16 inch) thick.
Nature reproduces eight well-known marbles, among them Calacatta Gold, Statuario, Carrara, Taj Mahal and the dark Belvedere. The rectified, colored body porcelain runs from 24x48 to 4x12 with mosaics and bullnose; four of the colors also come polished in 24x48.
The 4x12 is a small rectangle for walls and floors: run it as a subway, stack it, or set it in a herringbone.
In matte, the porcelain tile reads soft and natural under any light and keeps smudges from showing. The color runs through the body of the tile, so a chip shows the same tone instead of a light clay base. Shade variation is moderate: tone and pattern change from piece to piece, as in natural material. Del Conca rates the face at 0.42 DCOF wet or better, which meets the ANSI A326.3 minimum for level interior floors that get wet.
The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so the tile can be set with a narrow grout joint. Each box holds 36 pieces, 11.65 sq ft, about 46 lb, and orders round up to full boxes.
Also in Nature Statuario Bianco: 12x24 tile, 24x24 tile, 24x48 tile, 4x24 bullnose, hexagon mosaic, square mosaic.
Nature is produced at Del Conca USA's plant in Loudon, Tennessee, and ships from the factory.
