Product Description
New England Anthracite is a 24x48 porcelain tile with a stone look in a matte finish, 8.5 mm (5/16 inch) thick.
New England is a soft, even stone look in White, Ivory, Cold Gray and Anthracite. The rectified, colored body porcelain runs from 24x48 to 4x12, with a herringbone mosaic, a brick mosaic, a square mosaic and a bullnose.
The 24x48 size makes New England Anthracite read almost like a slab, with few joints.
In matte, the porcelain tile reads soft and natural under any light and keeps smudges from showing. The color runs through the body of the tile, so a chip shows the same tone instead of a light clay base. Shade variation is moderate: tone and pattern change from piece to piece, as in natural material. Del Conca rates the face at 0.42 DCOF wet or better, which meets the ANSI A326.3 minimum for level interior floors that get wet.
Every piece is rectified, so the edges are straight and true and the grout lines can stay thin. Each box holds 2 pieces, 15.5 sq ft, about 61 lb, and orders round up to full boxes.
Also in New England Anthracite: 12x24 tile, 24x24 tile, 4x12 tile, 4x24 bullnose, brick mosaic, herringbone mosaic, square mosaic.
Made in the USA by Del Conca USA in Loudon, Tennessee, and shipped from there.
