How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Sintered Stone · Slab

Pulpis Silk in a Wider Brown Format

This Pulpis sintered stone slab presents warm brown color in a fixed 126x63 format with a Silk finish. It has quiet drama. Manufactured from pressed and fired minerals, the 1/2 inch surface combines close pattern repetition with broad veining for kitchen, bathroom, and living room designs.

Design

Angular Veins Drift Through Umber

Warm umber and cocoa brown fill the slab, broken by thin cream, pale gray, and occasional muted gold lines. The pattern is open. Diagonal veins cross near the center, then branch into finer angular marks, while wide smoky clouds and several soft horizontal bands give the ground more depth beneath the Silk face.

Crossing movement

Fine diagonal veins meet near the center and spread into smaller branches.

Balanced thickness

The listed 1/2 inch profile comes in a fixed 126x63 rectangular slab.

Where to use it

Carry Warm Brown Across Broad Areas

Residential countertops can make the crossing veins a central feature in a kitchen without introducing a densely patterned surface. The field remains open. For a bathroom, shower walls display the larger branches clearly, while residential interior walls or floors can extend the warm brown color into a living room.

Room to show movement

Countertops and shower walls give the open diagonal pattern space to read.

Listed floor options

Residential interior floors and residential light floors are suitable applications.

Why we chose it
