Product Description
Sand Stone White comes in a 12x24 matte porcelain tile with the softly textured appearance of sandstone. Its warm white coloring feels earthy rather than stark, and subtle surface movement gives walls and floors the irregular character associated with natural stone. The straight-cut edges retain a clean rectangular profile.
At 12x24, the format creates broad bands of warm white with fewer visual breaks than a mosaic. The matte finish diffuses light, and V3 shade variation means noticeable differences in color and texture should appear across the finished area. It is rated for residential and commercial interior walls and floors, including shower walls, backsplashes, bathrooms, kitchens, and living rooms. Its IW classification covers level indoor floors that become wet.
Absorption of 0.5% or less makes the porcelain impervious, so its body takes up almost no water. A breaking strength of at least 325 pounds exceeds the 250-pound ANSI minimum for floor tile. Mohs hardness of 7.0 to 8.0 indicates strong resistance to scratches from grit, while Class IV abrasion performance suits busy homes and most commercial floors. Wet DCOF is at least 0.42, and the tile resists frost and thermal shock.
