Product Description
Sediment Taupe is a 12x24 matte porcelain tile shaped by the softly layered look of travertine. Its taupe surface falls within the beige color family, giving the stone pattern a warmer cast than the white version. The broader Sediment range carries this modern interpretation through polished and matte field tile, mosaic, and bullnose formats.
The 12x24 proportions produce long visual lines without the scale of an oversized slab. A matte surface diffuses glare, allowing the taupe coloring and travertine-style movement to remain prominent under changing light. V3 shade variation brings clearly visible shifts between pieces. Approved settings span residential and commercial interior floors and walls, shower walls, and backsplashes, covering bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas.
Absorption is limited to 0.5% or less, so the porcelain qualifies as impervious under ANSI A137.1 and takes in almost no water. Its breaking strength is at least 325 pounds, comfortably beyond the 250-pound ANSI minimum for a floor tile. Resistance to frost and thermal shock further describes how the material responded to those conditions.
This tile is packaged by the box and priced per square foot. A box weighs 60 pounds, contains 8 pieces, and provides 15.49 square feet of coverage. Taupe coordinating formats include a 2x2 mosaic and 4x12 bullnose. White matte and White polished provide two additional 12x24 options.
