How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Sintered Stone · Slab

Summer Dala with a Silk Surface

Summer Dala is a brown sintered stone slab made from pressed and fired minerals. Its pattern suggests pale wood without using natural wood. The 126x59 format and 1/4 thickness suit modern plans for residential floors, walls, shower walls, or countertops across a kitchen, bathroom, or living room.

Design

Warm Grain Across Summer Dala

A pale beige-brown ground carries soft horizontal grain in tan, cream, and muted taupe. The pattern is moderately dense, with long lines, several broad cloudy sweeps, and scattered knots or ring-like formations that reinforce the wood look. Movement runs mainly sideways. The Silk finish holds a gentle sheen without obscuring these fine details.

Wood-like grain

Long tan lines and occasional ring forms create a convincing timber-inspired pattern.

Pale warmth

Beige, cream, and taupe keep the brown field light rather than heavy.

Where to use it

Warm Continuity from Wall to Floor

Across a living room, Summer Dala can carry its horizontal grain over residential interior floors or a feature wall. It also fits a kitchen residential countertop and bathroom shower walls. Orientation matters here. Running the grain consistently through nearby cuts can make the repeated design feel composed, while turning selected pieces can create a deliberate change in direction.

Floor direction

The long grain can guide the eye through residential interior or light floor areas.

Kitchen warmth

Its pale brown surface gives a residential countertop a wood-inspired appearance.

Why we chose it

Manufactured coordinationThe through-body printed design repeats closely, giving separate slabs a related grain pattern.
Fixed slab sizeThis Neolith product comes in the stated 126x59 rectangular format, not random dimensions.
Project ready processA licensed fabricator receives the selected slab and manages templating, cutting, and installation.

Questions we get

Does Summer Dala have a glossy finish?

No. The Silk finish has a mild, controlled sheen rather than a mirror-bright reflection.
