How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Sintered Stone · Slab

Silk Summer Dala in a 12mm Format

Summer Dala is a wood-look sintered stone slab with a light brown field and a Silk finish. It is manufactured from minerals pressed and fired together. This 126x63 version has a 1/2 thickness and works across listed kitchen, bathroom, and living room applications.

Design

Pale Timber Notes with Soft Knots

Shown in the slab, the slab has a pale beige and sandy brown ground with fine cream and taupe grain running horizontally. Several faint knot shapes and curved growth-ring forms appear through the middle and lower half. The pattern is evenly distributed. Broader misty bands soften the straight lines, while the Silk surface adds quiet reflection without a high-gloss effect.

Natural-looking rhythm

Straight grain mixes with curved rings and faint knots across the broad face.

Even coloration

Sandy brown, cream, and taupe remain close in value for a low-contrast look.

Where to use it

Broad Wood Look Without Dark Weight

In a living room, the pale grain can spread across residential interior floors or create a long residential interior wall treatment. Kitchen residential countertops gain warmth without a dark surface. Bathroom shower walls can use the same pattern. The 126x63 size is fixed. A fabricator can study the grain direction before templating so adjoining sections follow the intended line.

Expanded format

The 126x63 slab provides room for long cuts that retain the horizontal grain.

Flexible orientation

The fabricator can align or turn the pattern according to the planned wall, floor, or countertop layout.

Why we chose it

Close slab matchingThe manufactured through-body pattern repeats closely from slab to slab within a production batch.
Visible current choicesAvailable batches are represented by photos on this page and change as pieces are sold.
Clear delivery routeSlabs travel directly to the licensed fabricator rather than to the project site.
