Product Description
Terrazzo White is a 12x24 matte porcelain tile that recreates the scattered chips and cement-like base of traditional terrazzo. The white ground keeps the composition bright, while the embedded-looking fragments introduce fine-scale color and texture across the face.
Its 12x24 shape gives the chip pattern a directional rectangular framework, and straight-cut edges preserve a clear boundary between pieces. The tile measures 9 mm, or 3/8 inch, thick. V2 variation creates slight differences among tiles, enough to keep the field from feeling mechanically repeated. It is rated for residential and commercial interior floors and walls, including light residential floors, shower walls, and backsplashes in bathrooms, kitchens, and living rooms. The matte surface reaches a wet DCOF of at least 0.42, the ANSI A326.3 benchmark for level indoor floors that get wet.
Absorption is limited to 0.5%, making the porcelain impervious with almost no water entering its body. Breaking strength is at least 325 pounds, above the 250-pound ANSI floor-tile minimum. Mohs hardness falls between 7.0 and 8.0, indicating strong resistance to scratching from grit and sand. Class IV abrasion resistance suits busy residential floors and most commercial floors. Frost and thermal shock resistance are also present, with Class A chemical resistance.
Sold by the box and priced per square foot, 8 tiles cover 15.49 square feet. The 60-pound box contains the sole 12x24 matte format, also offered in Moca and Black.
