Product Description
Twilight Elegance Gray comes in a 4 inch hexagon polished porcelain mosaic with blue-gray marble coloring and layered, threadlike veins. Reflections move across the six-sided pieces independently, giving the cool stone pattern a faceted appearance. The mosaic's porcelain body is 9 mm, or 3/8 inch, thick.
Four-inch hexagons balance recognizable geometry with enough surface area to display sections of the veining inside each piece. The polished finish heightens light response, while V3 variation means the gray-blue shade and marble graphics change visibly throughout the assembly. Its rated uses are residential interior walls, shower walls, and backsplashes in bathrooms and kitchens. No floor application is included for this polished version.
Water absorption is capped at 0.5%, making the material impervious porcelain. This means the body absorbs almost no water, helping prevent moisture-driven staining from the inside. A breaking strength of 425 pounds or greater exceeds the 250-pound ANSI A137.1 level associated with floor tile, even though this mosaic's approved placements are on walls. It is resistant to both frost and thermal shock.
Each sheet provides 0.89 square foot and is sold separately. Five sheets make up an 18-pound box. Other pieces carrying the Twilight Elegance Gray design include 12x24 and 24x48 tiles, the 2x2 mosaic, and the 4x12 bullnose.
