Product Description
Arctic Style White presents a 3 inch hexagon polished porcelain mosaic in a clear, solid white with no veining. Its reflective finish emphasizes the repeating six-sided geometry, while the unpatterned color keeps the overall surface visually calm. The porcelain is 9 mm, or 3/8 inch, thick.
At 3 inches, each hexagon remains easy to distinguish across a backsplash or wall, giving the surface more rhythm than a field tile. Polishing allows the white face to pick up light, and V1 variation keeps color differences between pieces minimal. This mosaic is rated for backsplashes, shower walls, and residential interior walls in bathrooms and kitchens.
The absorption rate is 0.5% or less, placing the material in the impervious porcelain category. In practical terms, the body takes up almost no water, which matters on its rated shower-wall surfaces. Breaking strength is at least 425 pounds, substantially above the 250-pound ANSI A137.1 floor-tile benchmark. The mosaic is resistant to both frost and thermal shock, measurements of its response to freezing and rapid temperature shifts.
Arctic Style White polished hexagon mosaic is sold by the sheet, and one sheet covers 0.84 square feet. A carton contains 5 sheets and weighs 18 pounds. The line carries the same bright white color in a 12x12 tile and a diamond mosaic, offering both broad square fields and a more angular companion pattern.
