Round Carrara White marble coffee table
This round coffee table is made from first-grade Carrara White marble quarried in Turkey. The top comes in three diameters, 32, 36 or 40 inches, and every size stands 16.5 inches high. The finish is polished with eased edges, and the stone sits on wooden legs in walnut or dark walnut. Carrara is one of the easiest marbles to live with: its gentle gray veining lets everyday objects sit on the table without competing with the pattern.
Design
White stone, warm wood
The top is a 3/4 inch thick slab of white marble with soft gray veining. That depth gives the table real presence, so it feels like a fixed part of the room rather than a light accent. The polished surface shows the natural character of the stone, while eased edges take away sharp corners. Below, warm wood legs balance the cool stone: the marble grounds the room and the walnut brings warmth. Each slab is unique, with veining formed by nature, so no two tables look the same. Small differences in finish from one hand-made table to the next are part of that character.

Round tables in busy rooms
A round top has no sharp corners, which matters in a high-traffic living room or one that doubles as a playroom, where people move around the table constantly. The 32 inch size suits a loveseat or a small sitting area, 36 inches sits well in front of a standard sofa, and 40 inches fills the center of a larger seating group. All three stand at 16.5 inches, a comfortable height beside most sofas. The table is meant as a focal point in a living area rather than as a work surface.

Delivery and setup
Placing a marble top
Solid marble is heavy, even in the smallest size, so two or more people should handle the table on delivery. Choose a level spot so the wooden legs bear evenly. Felt pads under the legs protect the floor finish. Set the table straight down rather than sliding it across the floor.

Care
Carrara White is a porous calcite marble with a polished surface. Acidic drinks and foods such as lemon juice, vinegar, wine and coffee can etch the polish, and oils and dyes can stain it if left to sit. Sealing reduces these risks without removing them, and how often the top is resealed depends on use. Over time the surface develops a soft patina from daily living.
