Product Description
Eden Portland is a 12x24 porcelain tile with a marble look in a matte finish, 8.5 mm (5/16 inch) thick.
Eden is a marble look in four stones: Bianco Lasa, Calacatta Lincoln, the gray Portland and a deep Blue de Savoie. The color runs through the rectified porcelain body, and each shade has a lens mosaic, a 1-3/8 inch mosaic and a bullnose.
Eden Portland 12x24 works in a straight stack, a one-third offset or a herringbone on walls and floors.
The matte face has no sheen, so Eden Portland does not throw glare and keeps footprints and water spots out of sight. It is a colored body porcelain: the tint goes all the way through, which keeps chips and cut edges discreet. Del Conca rates the shade variation as moderate, so tone and veining move from one piece to the next. Its wet DCOF is 0.42 or higher, the ANSI threshold for level indoor floors exposed to water.
Every piece is rectified, so the edges are straight and true and the grout lines can stay thin. Sold by the box: one box covers 15.5 sq ft in 8 pieces and weighs about 61 lb.
