Product Description
Elaraine Celestial White comes in a 4 inch hexagon matte porcelain mosaic with the appearance of Arabescato marble. A bright white base is crossed by bold black veining with soft, cloudlike forms. The six-sided pattern breaks that dramatic marble image into repeating geometric units while retaining the Celestial White character of the Elaraine line.
The 4 inch hexagon shape creates an angular honeycomb rhythm that reads differently from the collection's rectangular field tiles and square mosaic. Its matte finish keeps glare low, and V3 shade variation brings clearly noticeable changes in color and veining among pieces. The mosaic is rated for backsplashes, residential interior walls, shower walls, shower floors, and bathroom floors and walls, making its approved settings centered on kitchens and bathrooms.
With absorption at 0.5% or less, the material qualifies as impervious porcelain and takes up almost no water. That property matters for the shower and bathroom surfaces included in its ratings. A breaking strength of at least 425 pounds is well above the 250-pound ANSI benchmark for floor tile. Frost and thermal shock resistance describe performance under those individual tests, without implying an application beyond the rated interior locations.
The hexagon mosaic is sold by the sheet, and one sheet covers 0.89 square foot. Each 18-pound box holds 5 sheets. Coordinating Celestial White formats include the 12x24 tile, 24x24 tile, 24x48 tile, and 2x2 mosaic.
