Product Description
Essential Gray is a 24x24 porcelain tile with a concrete look in a matte finish, 8.5 mm (5/16 inch) thick.
Essential is a plain cement look with a faint iridescent sheen that shows when light rakes across it. The rectified, colored body porcelain runs from 24x48 to 4x12 in Beige, Gray, Graphite and White, with a Design decor, two mosaics and a bullnose.
Lay the 24x24 square in a grid, a quarter offset or on the diagonal.
In matte, the porcelain tile reads soft and natural under any light and keeps smudges from showing. It is a colored body porcelain: the tint goes all the way through, which keeps chips and cut edges discreet. Del Conca rates the shade variation as moderate, so tone and veining move from one piece to the next. Its wet DCOF is 0.42 or higher, the ANSI threshold for level indoor floors exposed to water.
Rectified edges, ground square after firing, allow a tight grout joint. Sold by the box: one box covers 23.25 sq ft in 6 pieces and weighs about 92 lb.
Also in Essential Gray: 12x24 tile, 24x48 tile, 4x12 tile, 4x24 bullnose, offset linear mosaic, square mosaic.
Made in the USA by Del Conca USA in Loudon, Tennessee, and shipped from there.
