Product Description
Ethan Stone Gray is a 12x24 matte porcelain tile that interprets travertine in a cool gray color. Fine stone-like direction gives the rectangular face a natural linear quality, while the neutral field supports both tonal and contrasting room palettes. Ethan Stone develops the same concept through field, mosaic, and trim formats in Gray, White, and Beige.
Because the tile measures 12x24, its longer axis gives walls and floors a broad rectangular rhythm. The matte finish disperses light rather than producing a glossy reflection, and V2 variation keeps differences among pieces subtle. Rated applications include residential and commercial interior floors and walls, shower walls, and backsplashes. Bathroom, kitchen, and living room settings are covered, and the IW classification includes level indoor floors that become wet.
No more than 0.5% water absorption makes the porcelain impervious, so very little moisture enters its body. Breaking strength is at least 325 lbs, compared with the 250 lb minimum ANSI A137.1 sets for floor tile. Mohs hardness 7.0 indicates resistance to grit-related scratching. Class IV abrasion resistance supports busy residential floors and most commercial floors, while wet DCOF of at least 0.42 meets ANSI A326.3 for level wet interior floors. Chemical resistance is Class A, with frost and thermal shock performance rated resistant.
Boxes are priced per square foot and sold with 8 tiles, covering 15.49 sq ft at a box weight of 60 lbs. Gray coordinating pieces include the 2x2 mosaic and 4x12 bullnose. White and Beige share this 12x24 matte format.
