Product Description
Fossilique Stone Bedrock Beige is a 24x48 traction lappato porcelain tile defined by a deep, fossil-patterned stone look. Broad areas of beige hold layered mineral markings, allowing the geological design to unfold across the large rectangular face. The Fossilique Stone series repeats this character in complementary field sizes, finish treatments, mosaic, and trim.
At 24x48 inches, each tile covers a generous area and gives the fossil pattern long, uninterrupted passages. The traction lappato finish lends the surface a refined visual sheen while retaining the line's traction-enhanced character. V3 shade variation produces noticeable changes in color and pattern among tiles, so adjacent pieces contribute distinct portions of the stone effect. Rectified edges define the large format with precise boundaries. Rated locations include residential and commercial interior floors and walls, backsplashes, shower floors, and shower walls in bathrooms, kitchens, and living rooms.
The porcelain absorbs 0.5% water or less, meeting the definition of impervious material and taking up almost no water through its body. Its breaking strength is at least 425 pounds, well beyond the 250-pound ANSI A137.1 benchmark for floor tile. Class III abrasion resistance makes the surface appropriate for floors throughout a residence. The tile is resistant to frost and thermal shock, which reflects its performance under those individual test conditions rather than adding unrated applications.
Sold by the box and priced per square foot, this format provides 15.49 square feet from two pieces. Each box weighs 67 pounds. The Bedrock Beige range also contains a 12x24 tile, 24x24 tile, 3 inch hexagon mosaic, and 4x12 bullnose.
