Product Description
Gard Stone Gray comes as a 12x24 matte porcelain tile with a calm gray stone appearance. The surface interprets natural stone in a practical rectangular field format, supported within the Gard Stone collection by neutral tiles, a small-format mosaic, and finishing trim.
At 12x24 inches, the tile has proportions suited to measured wall courses and continuous floor layouts. Its matte finish limits glare, and straight-cut edges give each piece a defined outline. A V3 shade rating signals clearly visible changes in tone among tiles, so the finished area carries natural-looking movement. Rated applications include residential and commercial interior floors and walls, shower walls, and backsplashes in bathrooms, kitchens, and living rooms. The IW classification covers level indoor floors that become wet.
A wet DCOF of at least 0.42 meets the ANSI A326.3 criterion for level wet interior floors. The tile reaches a breaking strength of at least 325 pounds, exceeding the 250-pound ANSI minimum for floor tile. Its Mohs 7 surface resists scratching from sand and grit. Class IV abrasion resistance accommodates active homes and most commercial flooring, while chemical resistance is Class A. Frost and thermal shock resistance are both recorded as resistant.
This tile is sold by the box, with pricing shown per square foot. Eight pieces provide 15.49 square feet, and the box weighs 60 pounds. The line also offers a 24x48 tile, 2x2 mosaic, 4x12 bullnose, and Light Gray matte color.
