Product Description
Gard Stone Gray is offered as a 24x48 matte porcelain tile with a muted gray stone look. Broad faces let the soft mineral character occupy more visual space, while the Gard Stone range keeps the palette grounded in straightforward neutrals and coordinated finishing pieces.
The large rectangular format produces long visual lines and fewer tile breaks across an expansive wall or floor. A matte finish softens reflected light, and rectified edges give the 24x48 pieces a precise profile. V3 variation introduces distinct tonal shifts between tiles rather than a flat, identical field. The tile is rated for residential and commercial interior walls and floors, including shower walls and backsplashes, with bathroom, kitchen, and living room applications represented. Its IW rating applies to level interior flooring subject to wet conditions.
Wet DCOF measures at least 0.42, the ANSI A326.3 benchmark for level indoor floors that get wet. At least 325 pounds of breaking strength places it above the 250-pound ANSI requirement for floor tile. Mohs hardness is 7, which means the surface resists scratches associated with grit and sand. Abrasion resistance is Class IV for busy residential and most commercial floors. It also has Class A chemical resistance, plus resistance to frost and thermal shock.
Boxes contain two tiles covering 15.49 square feet and weighing 67 pounds, with the price displayed per square foot. Coordinating selections include the 12x24 tile, 2x2 mosaic, 4x12 bullnose, and White matte color.
