Product Description
Havana Stone White is a 12x24 matte porcelain tile with a terrazzo look formed by stone-like chips against a white, cement-toned ground. The pattern gives the surface scattered color and texture, reflecting a collection built around several field sizes, decorative mosaics, and a coordinating edge piece.
The 12x24 rectangle establishes an orderly scale without the broad span of the larger formats. Rectified edges sharpen its geometry, while the matte finish holds down glare. V3 shade variation allows noticeable tonal changes between pieces, reinforcing the irregular character associated with terrazzo. This tile is rated for residential and commercial interior walls and floors, shower walls, and backsplashes across bathrooms, kitchens, and living rooms. Its IW class includes level indoor floors that are exposed to water.
Water absorption of 0.5% or less defines this as impervious porcelain, meaning it takes up almost no water and does not stain from within. Breaking strength is at least 425 pounds, well beyond the 250-pound ANSI floor-tile threshold. Mohs 7 hardness resists scratches from grit and sand, and Class IV abrasion resistance suits busy homes and most commercial floors. Wet DCOF is at least 0.42. Chemical resistance is Class A, with frost and thermal shock resistance as well.
