Product Description
Marble Folio Statuary is a 12x24 polished porcelain tile that carries a white marble look. Its pale ground and stone-inspired veining draw from classic Statuary marble, while the polished face adds clear light reflection and visual depth. Rectified edges give the rectangle a sharply defined outline, and its thickness is 9 mm, or 3/8 inch.
In the 12x24 proportion, the marble pattern reads across an elongated surface rather than a large square field. The polished finish brightens wall areas and brings stronger contrast to the veining. V3 variation permits noticeable changes in shade and pattern between tiles, preventing the surface from appearing mechanically uniform. Rated uses include residential and commercial interior walls, shower walls, backsplashes, and light-duty residential floors. These applications extend to bathrooms, kitchens, and living rooms.
No more than 0.5% water absorption makes the body impervious porcelain, which means it accepts almost no moisture. The tile has a breaking strength of at least 425 pounds; for context, ANSI calls for a minimum of 250 pounds on floor tile. Frost resistance and thermal shock resistance are also part of its technical profile, but its location ratings remain limited to the interior applications described above.
Sold by the box, this tile carries a price shown per square foot. A box contains eight pieces, covers 15.38 square feet, and weighs 67 pounds. The Statuary line includes a 24x24 tile and 4x12 bullnose. At 12x24, Daino Reale is available in matte and polished versions.
