Product Description
Marble Folio Statuary features a 24x24 polished porcelain tile with white marble coloring. The square face combines a pale Statuary base with marble-like veining, and its reflective polish makes those markings more pronounced in changing light. Rectified edges frame the design cleanly. Each tile is 9 mm, or 3/8 inch, thick.
The generous 24x24 dimensions spread the stone pattern across a broad area, reducing the visual frequency of joints compared with smaller formats. Polish increases reflection and gives the white field a brighter room presence. With V3 variation, shifts in shade and graphic detail are readily visible from tile to tile. This product is rated for residential and commercial interior walls, shower walls, backsplashes, and light residential floors in bathrooms, kitchens, and living rooms.
The porcelain absorbs 0.5% water or less and therefore falls within the impervious category. For a homeowner, that percentage means the body takes up almost no water, consistent with its approved wet interior wall applications. Minimum breaking strength is 425 pounds, substantially higher than the 250-pound ANSI floor-tile standard. The tile records resistance to both frost and thermal shock; these properties do not add locations beyond its interior use ratings.
Four tiles come in each 67-pound box, providing 15.46 square feet of coverage. It is sold by the box with the price expressed per square foot. Other Statuary formats include the 12x24 tile and 4x12 bullnose. The same 24x24 format is offered in Daino Reale matte and Daino Reale polished.
