Product Description
Mystic Marble Beige takes shape as a 4 inch hexagon matte porcelain mosaic with warm marble coloring. Beige, earthy veins cross a clear white base in a pattern inspired by Botticino stone. The low-sheen finish gives the six-sided pieces a quieter surface while preserving the contrast and direction of the veining.
The 4 inch hexagon geometry creates a larger-scale honeycomb rhythm than a small square mosaic. V3 variation brings visible tonal changes among the pieces, breaking up repetition across the patterned surface. Rated locations include backsplashes, shower walls, residential interior walls, shower floors, and bathroom floors and walls. These uses make the format relevant to bathroom surfaces and kitchen wall areas without extending its rating beyond interior applications.
Absorption is limited to 0.5% or less, the ANSI A137.1 definition of impervious porcelain. In practical terms, the body takes up almost no water and will not absorb stains from within. A breaking strength of at least 425 pounds stands well above the 250-pound floor-tile minimum in the same standard. The mosaic also resists frost and thermal shock.
Sheets are the sales unit, with 0.89 square feet of coverage on each one. Five sheets come in an 18-pound box. Other Mystic Marble Beige formats are the 12x24 tile, 24x48 tile, 2x2 mosaic, and 4x12 bullnose.
