Product Description
Navona Sabbia is a 4x12 porcelain tile with a travertine look in a matte finish, 8.5 mm (5/16 inch) thick.
Navona is a classic travertine look, pores and banding included, in Sabbia, Grigio and Bianco. The rectified glazed porcelain comes in 24x48, 12x24 and 4x12, with a mosaic, a Muretto wall tile and a bullnose.
At 4x12, the tile works as a subway on a backsplash or in a herringbone on a floor.
The matte face has no sheen, so Navona Sabbia does not throw glare and keeps footprints and water spots out of sight. Del Conca rates the shade variation as moderate, so tone and veining move from one piece to the next. Its wet DCOF is 0.42 or higher, the ANSI threshold for level indoor floors exposed to water.
The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so the tile can be set with a narrow grout joint. Sold by the box: one box covers 11.65 sq ft in 36 pieces and weighs about 46 lb.
