Product Description
New England Cold Gray is a 12x24 porcelain tile with a stone look in a matte finish, 8.5 mm (5/16 inch) thick.
New England is a soft, even stone look in White, Ivory, Cold Gray and Anthracite. The rectified, colored body porcelain runs from 24x48 to 4x12, with a herringbone mosaic, a brick mosaic, a square mosaic and a bullnose.
The 12x24 rectangle can be laid straight, in a brick offset or in a one-third offset.
New England Cold Gray has a matte, low-glare face that hides daily wear better than a shiny one. The color runs through the body of the tile, so a chip shows the same tone instead of a light clay base. Shade variation is moderate: tone and pattern change from piece to piece, as in natural material. Del Conca rates the face at 0.42 DCOF wet or better, which meets the ANSI A326.3 minimum for level interior floors that get wet.
The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so the tile can be set with a narrow grout joint. It ships in full boxes of 15.5 sq ft (8 pieces), roughly 61 lb each.
Also in New England Cold Gray: 24x24 tile, 24x48 tile, 4x12 tile, 4x24 bullnose, brick mosaic, herringbone mosaic, square mosaic.
Made in the USA at Del Conca's plant in Loudon, Tennessee, which is also where it ships from.
