Product Description
New England White is a 24x48 porcelain tile with a stone look in a matte finish, 8.5 mm (5/16 inch) thick.
New England is a soft, even stone look in White, Ivory, Cold Gray and Anthracite. The rectified, colored body porcelain runs from 24x48 to 4x12, with a herringbone mosaic, a brick mosaic, a square mosaic and a bullnose.
The 24x48 size makes New England White read almost like a slab, with few joints.
The matte face has no sheen, so New England White does not throw glare and keeps footprints and water spots out of sight. It is a colored body porcelain: the tint goes all the way through, which keeps chips and cut edges discreet. Del Conca rates the shade variation as moderate, so tone and veining move from one piece to the next. Its wet DCOF is 0.42 or higher, the ANSI threshold for level indoor floors exposed to water.
The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so the tile can be set with a narrow grout joint. It ships in full boxes of 15.5 sq ft (2 pieces), roughly 61 lb each.
