Product Description
Roma Nut is a 12x24 porcelain tile with a travertine look in a matte finish, 8.5 mm (5/16 inch) thick.
Roma reproduces Italian cross-cut travertine using Del Conca's Trace dimensional glaze, so the face has real texture under the hand. It comes in White, Almond, Gray and Nut, from 24x48 to 4x12, with an Archetti arch decor, mosaics and bullnose.
At 12x24, the tile can run in a brick pattern, a one-third offset or stacked vertically on a wall.
Del Conca's Trace process builds real relief into the matte face, so the texture catches light like natural stone. The color runs through the body of the tile, so a chip shows the same tone instead of a light clay base. Shade variation is moderate: tone and pattern change from piece to piece, as in natural material. Del Conca rates the face at 0.51 DCOF wet or better, which meets the ANSI A326.3 minimum for level interior floors that get wet.
The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so the tile can be set with a narrow grout joint. Sold by the box: one box covers 15.5 sq ft in 8 pieces and weighs about 61 lb.
