Product Description
Roma Nut is a 24x48 porcelain tile with a travertine look in a matte finish, 8.5 mm (5/16 inch) thick.
Roma reproduces Italian cross-cut travertine using Del Conca's Trace dimensional glaze, so the face has real texture under the hand. It comes in White, Almond, Gray and Nut, from 24x48 to 4x12, with an Archetti arch decor, mosaics and bullnose.
A 24x48 panel covers a lot of floor or wall in one piece and keeps grout lines to a minimum. Plan for a flat substrate and a leveling system.
The Trace glaze gives the matte face a dimensional texture you can feel, not just a printed picture of stone. It is a colored body porcelain: the tint goes all the way through, which keeps chips and cut edges discreet. Del Conca rates the shade variation as moderate, so tone and veining move from one piece to the next. Its wet DCOF is 0.51 or higher, the ANSI threshold for level indoor floors exposed to water.
The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so the tile can be set with a narrow grout joint. Each box holds 2 pieces, 15.5 sq ft, about 61 lb, and orders round up to full boxes.
