Sediment Taupe Polished Travertine Look Bullnose Porcelain Trim 4x12

Sediment Taupe is a 4x12 polished porcelain bullnose trim piece that carries a travertine look. Its warm taupe coloring falls within the beige family, while the reflective face gives the stone-inspired pattern greater visual definition. Sediment brings this contemporary travertine treatment to White and Taupe formats with matte and polished surfaces.

The long 4x12 profile is proportioned to complete exposed tile edges and bring straight tiled runs to a finished end. A bullnose edge softens the outer termination, and rectified sides provide precisely shaped adjoining lines. Light reflects clearly from the polished surface. With V3 shade variation, the trim displays noticeable changes in color and pattern from one piece to the next rather than a uniform repeated appearance.

Its water absorption does not exceed 0.5%, satisfying the ANSI A137.1 definition of impervious porcelain. For the material, this means almost no water enters the body and internal moisture does not create stains. At least 325 pounds of breaking strength places it above the 250-pound ANSI floor-tile reference. The piece is resistant in frost testing and also resistant when evaluated for thermal shock.

This polished bullnose is sold as an individual piece. A 22-pound box holds 15 pieces. Sediment Taupe also appears as a 12x24 tile, carrying the color into the collection's larger surface format. White matte and White polished provide two additional treatments in the same 4x12 bullnose size.
