Product Description
Twilight Elegance Gray takes the form of a 4 inch hexagon matte porcelain mosaic with a blue-tinged gray marble look. Fine, overlapping veins pass through the geometric pieces, distributing the character of cool Alpine stone across a honeycomb-like field. Its 9 mm, or 3/8 inch, body gives the mosaic a defined material presence.
The 4 inch hexagon is large enough to reveal individual sections of veining while retaining the lively outline of a mosaic. A matte face reduces shine and keeps attention on the color and six-sided geometry. V3 variation allows visible changes in shade and markings among pieces, creating a varied surface. Approved applications include bathroom floors and walls, shower floors and walls, residential interior walls, and kitchen backsplashes.
Water absorption is 0.5% or less, so this porcelain is impervious and takes in almost no water through its body. The minimum breaking strength is 425 pounds, substantially higher than the 250-pound ANSI A137.1 reference point for floor tile. Frost resistance and thermal shock resistance describe how the material performed under those conditions, while its rated uses remain the interior locations specified above.
The mosaic is sold one sheet at a time, with 0.89 square foot of coverage per sheet. Each 18-pound carton holds 5 sheets. Available companion formats in Twilight Elegance Gray include 12x24 and 24x48 tiles, a 2x2 mosaic, and a 4x12 bullnose.
