Product Description
Woodland Walnut is an 8x48 porcelain plank with a wood look in a matte finish, 8.5 mm (5/16 inch) thick.
Woodland is modeled on Italian walnut, with a fine, straight grain. The rectified, colored body porcelain plank comes in 8x48, in Natural, Gray and Walnut.
The 8x48 plank is set in a staggered run like hardwood, but water does not hurt it, so it works in baths, kitchens and basements too.
In matte, the porcelain plank reads soft and natural under any light and keeps smudges from showing. The color runs through the body of the tile, so a chip shows the same tone instead of a light clay base. Shade variation is moderate: tone and pattern change from piece to piece, as in natural material. Del Conca rates the face at 0.42 DCOF wet or better, which meets the ANSI A326.3 minimum for level interior floors that get wet.
The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so the tile can be set with a narrow grout joint. Sold by the box: one box covers 12.92 sq ft in 5 pieces and weighs about 49 lb.
Made in the USA by Del Conca USA in Loudon, Tennessee, and shipped from there.
