How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Polished Calacatta Gold in a Long Slab

With its polished face, this Calacatta Gold sintered stone slab gives broad gray veining a clearer, more reflective presentation. The pattern has room to travel. Made by pressing and firing minerals, the manufactured surface has a through-body design and fixed 126x59 dimensions with 1/4 thickness.

Design

Bright White Under Layered Gray Bands

The pictured face has a warm white ground with gray and soft taupe-gray bands sweeping upward from left to right. Veining grows dense near the center. Wider cloudy strokes overlap with fine branching lines there, while larger white openings toward the upper and side areas keep the composition from feeling crowded.

Reflective Polish

Buffing creates a mirror shine that deepens the contrast between the pale ground and layered veins.

Strong Central Motion

The middle of the face carries the busiest banding, giving the fabricator a distinct feature to position.

In a bathroom, polished sections can bring stronger reflection to shower walls while keeping the directional gray pattern visible across a large area. Countertops read crisply. For a kitchen, residential countertops can feature the central sweep, and residential interior walls can use quieter portions nearby.

Polish suits walls, residential countertops and residential light floors where its shine supports the design plan.

Professional Cutting

The selected material is sent to a licensed fabricator for templating, cutting and installation.

What should I expect from the polished finish?

Polish produces a mirror-like shine and makes color and veining appear deeper. It can show etching and wear sooner than a honed face.

How is the quote prepared?

Select the slabs needed and request a quote. Pricing is tied to that selection rather than displayed as a standard listed price.

Are Neolith batches cut from a natural block?

No. Neolith is sintered stone manufactured from minerals. A batch means one production run, and its through-body pattern repeats closely across the slabs.
