Product Description
Carenza Oro is a 24x24 matte porcelain tile that interprets white marble with warm gold veining. The square format gives the pattern equal visual weight in both directions, while the Oro coloring adds warmth without changing the pale overall field. Carenza also includes a cooler Bianca direction built around light gray and pewter tones.
At 24 inches square, each tile covers a substantial area, producing a broad marble-look field with fewer individual tile divisions than smaller formats. The matte finish reduces surface reflection, and V3 shade variation creates noticeable shifts in color and vein placement from tile to tile. Rated applications encompass residential and commercial interior floors and walls, residential light floors, shower walls, and backsplashes in bathrooms, kitchens, and living rooms.
The porcelain absorbs 0.5% water or less. That meets the ANSI A137.1 definition of impervious porcelain, indicating a body that takes up almost no water. Breaking strength is at least 425 pounds, well beyond the 250-pound ANSI reference point for floor tile. It also has resistance to frost and thermal shock, while its specified uses are indoors.
This tile is sold by the box and priced per square foot. Four pieces cover 15.46 square feet, with a box weight of 67 pounds. The Oro range also contains 12x24 and 24x48 tile and a 4x12 bullnose. Bianca polished is another color and finish offered in the 24x24 format.
