Product Description
Destiny Slate Variegated Bronze is a 12x24 matte porcelain tile shaped by the layered texture and high contrast of natural slate. Brown, bronze, and darker mineral tones give the surface an active, varied character rather than a uniform field. Its straight-cut edges and 9 mm, or 3/8 inch, thickness support a clean rectangular format.
At 12x24, the tile establishes broad bands of color that let the slate pattern remain visible across a room. The matte finish limits glare, while V4 shade variation signals substantial differences from tile to tile. It is rated for residential and commercial interior walls, shower walls, backsplashes, residential interior floors, light residential floors, and commercial interior floors. The IW classification also covers level indoor floors that get wet, such as bathrooms and kitchens.
Absorption of 0.5% or less makes this impervious porcelain, so its body takes up almost no water. Its breaking strength is at least 325 pounds, exceeding the 250-pound ANSI floor-tile threshold. Mohs hardness of 7.0 indicates resistance to scratching from grit and sand, and Class IV abrasion resistance suits busy homes and most commercial floors. Wet DCOF is at least 0.42. Class A chemical resistance, frost resistance, and thermal shock resistance complete the performance profile.
The tile is sold by the box, with pricing shown per square foot. Each 60-pound box contains 8 pieces covering 15.49 square feet. A matching 3x12 bullnose and 2x2 mosaic extend the Variegated Bronze line.
