Product Description
Fossilique Stone Mineral Umber combines a 24x24 polished porcelain tile with a deep brown stone look. Organic fossil-inspired shapes move through the mineral-toned surface, lending the square field a sense of geological layering. Its polished face emphasizes those shifts with reflected light, and rectified edges keep the tile's outline exact.
A 24x24 square gives the pattern room to develop while forming an orderly grid across interior surfaces. Noticeable differences in color and graphics from tile to tile are expected from the V3 shade variation, which keeps larger areas visually varied. The product is rated for residential and commercial interior walls, shower surrounds, backsplashes, and light-use residential floors in bathrooms, kitchens, and living rooms.
At 0.5% or less, water absorption meets the definition of impervious porcelain, so the body takes in almost no moisture. The tile withstands a breaking load of at least 425 pounds, substantially higher than the ANSI A137.1 floor-tile minimum of 250 pounds. Its Class III abrasion rating corresponds to residential floors in every room. Frost resistance and resistance to thermal shock are also part of its technical profile.
