Product Description
Fossilique Stone Mineral Umber offers a 12x24 polished porcelain tile with a warm brown stone look. Fossil-like impressions sit within layered mineral coloring, creating depth along the rectangular face. The polish heightens tonal contrast and reflected light, while rectified edges provide a sharply defined boundary around each piece.
Its 12x24 dimensions bring a linear cadence to a wall or floor and divide the fossil pattern into manageable rectangular sections. With V3 shade variation, adjacent tiles differ noticeably in tone and markings, producing an active surface rather than a single-color field. Rated locations include residential and commercial interior walls, shower walls, backsplashes, and light residential floors in bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas.
The tile's water absorption is limited to 0.5%, qualifying it as impervious porcelain under ANSI A137.1. In practical terms, nearly no water penetrates the porcelain body, supporting its wet-room rating. Breaking strength measures at least 425 pounds, exceeding the 250-pound standard for floor tile. A Class III abrasion classification suits residential floors throughout the home. It is resistant to frost as well as thermal shock.
This product comes by the box, though its price is shown per square foot. One 67-pound box contains 8 tiles with total coverage of 15.38 square feet. Additional Mineral Umber pieces include 24x24 and 24x48 tiles and a 4x12 bullnose.
