Product Description
Fossilique Stone Mineral Umber is a 24x48 polished porcelain tile with a brown stone look shaped by deep, fossil-like markings. Its reflective surface brings those layered details forward, while the Mineral Umber coloring gives bathrooms, kitchens, and living rooms a grounded, earthy character.
The broad format covers substantial visual area with each piece, creating long fields of patterned color. A rectified edge gives the tile a precise profile, and the 9 mm, or 3/8 inch, thickness keeps the format substantial. V3 shade variation means noticeable differences occur from tile to tile, producing an active surface rather than uniform brown. It is rated for residential and commercial interior walls, shower walls, backsplashes, and light-use residential floors.
Water absorption of 0.5% or less makes this impervious porcelain, meaning it takes up almost no water and performs well in wet rooms. Breaking strength is at least 425 pounds, well above the 250-pound ANSI benchmark for floor tile. Class III abrasion resistance suits floors throughout a home. The material is also resistant to frost and thermal shock.
It is sold by the box, with pricing shown per square foot. Each 67-pound box contains 2 pieces and covers 15.49 square feet. Mineral Umber also comes as a 12x24 tile, 24x24 tile, and 4x12 bullnose.
