Product Description
Horizons Graphite is a 12x24 porcelain tile with a concrete look in a matte finish, 8.5 mm (5/16 inch) thick.
Horizons mixes a concrete surface with the grain of stone. The rectified, colored body porcelain comes in Ivory, Gray, Graphite and White, from 24x48 to 4x12, with a square mosaic, a 4 inch hexagon and a bullnose.
The 12x24 rectangle can be laid straight, in a brick offset or in a one-third offset.
Horizons Graphite has a matte, low-glare face that hides daily wear better than a shiny one. It is a colored body porcelain: the tint goes all the way through, which keeps chips and cut edges discreet. Del Conca rates the shade variation as moderate, so tone and veining move from one piece to the next. Its wet DCOF is 0.42 or higher, the ANSI threshold for level indoor floors exposed to water.
Rectified edges, ground square after firing, allow a tight grout joint. Sold by the box: one box covers 15.5 sq ft in 8 pieces and weighs about 61 lb.
