Product Description
Horizons Graphite is a 24x48 porcelain tile with a concrete look in a matte finish, 8.5 mm (5/16 inch) thick.
Horizons mixes a concrete surface with the grain of stone. The rectified, colored body porcelain comes in Ivory, Gray, Graphite and White, from 24x48 to 4x12, with a square mosaic, a 4 inch hexagon and a bullnose.
A 24x48 panel covers a lot of floor or wall in one piece and keeps grout lines to a minimum. Plan for a flat substrate and a leveling system.
The matte face has no sheen, so Horizons Graphite does not throw glare and keeps footprints and water spots out of sight. The color runs through the body of the tile, so a chip shows the same tone instead of a light clay base. Shade variation is moderate: tone and pattern change from piece to piece, as in natural material. Del Conca rates the face at 0.42 DCOF wet or better, which meets the ANSI A326.3 minimum for level interior floors that get wet.
Every piece is rectified, so the edges are straight and true and the grout lines can stay thin. It ships in full boxes of 15.5 sq ft (2 pieces), roughly 61 lb each.
