Product Description
Horizons White is a 12x24 porcelain tile with a concrete look in a matte finish, 8.5 mm (5/16 inch) thick.
Horizons mixes a concrete surface with the grain of stone. The rectified, colored body porcelain comes in Ivory, Gray, Graphite and White, from 24x48 to 4x12, with a square mosaic, a 4 inch hexagon and a bullnose.
The 12x24 rectangle can be laid straight, in a brick offset or in a one-third offset.
The matte face has no sheen, so Horizons White does not throw glare and keeps footprints and water spots out of sight. The color runs through the body of the tile, so a chip shows the same tone instead of a light clay base. Shade variation is moderate: tone and pattern change from piece to piece, as in natural material. Del Conca rates the face at 0.42 DCOF wet or better, which meets the ANSI A326.3 minimum for level interior floors that get wet.
The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so the tile can be set with a narrow grout joint. It ships in full boxes of 15.5 sq ft (8 pieces), roughly 61 lb each.
