Product Description
Horizons White is a 24x48 porcelain tile with a concrete look in a matte finish, 8.5 mm (5/16 inch) thick.
Horizons mixes a concrete surface with the grain of stone. The rectified, colored body porcelain comes in Ivory, Gray, Graphite and White, from 24x48 to 4x12, with a square mosaic, a 4 inch hexagon and a bullnose.
At 24x48 this is a large format, so a room needs fewer pieces and shows fewer grout lines. Large tiles want a flat, well-prepared substrate.
The matte face has no sheen, so Horizons White does not throw glare and keeps footprints and water spots out of sight. It is a colored body porcelain: the tint goes all the way through, which keeps chips and cut edges discreet. Del Conca rates the shade variation as moderate, so tone and veining move from one piece to the next. Its wet DCOF is 0.42 or higher, the ANSI threshold for level indoor floors exposed to water.
Every piece is rectified, so the edges are straight and true and the grout lines can stay thin. It ships in full boxes of 15.5 sq ft (2 pieces), roughly 61 lb each.
