Product Description
Pietra Marme de Milano White 12x24 polished porcelain tile presents a white marble look threaded with abundant fine gray veins. Its pattern takes cues from Invisible Gray marble, translating the stone's web-like movement into porcelain. The rectangular format gives those markings room to travel across the face, while rectified edges keep the outline precise.
Polishing increases light reflection and makes the gray linework more pronounced. V3 shade variation means the individual tiles show noticeable visual differences, so a finished surface has movement rather than a single repeated tone. At 9 mm, or 3/8 inch, thick, this tile is rated for residential light-duty floors, residential and commercial interior walls, shower walls, and backsplashes. Those ratings suit bathroom, kitchen, and living-room applications within the specified categories.
Its water absorption is 0.5% or less, qualifying the porcelain as impervious under ANSI A137.1 and indicating that the body takes up almost no water. Breaking strength reaches at least 425 pounds, compared with the 250-pound ANSI minimum for floor tile. It is resistant to frost as well as thermal shock.
The tile is sold by the box, with pricing displayed per square foot. Eight pieces provide 15.38 square feet, and the box weighs 67 pounds. Other White options include 24x24 and 24x48 tile, the 2x2 mosaic, and the 3 inch hexagon mosaic.
