Product Description
Pietra Marme de Milano White 24x48 polished porcelain tile stretches a white marble look across a long rectangular surface. A close network of slender gray veins references Invisible Gray marble, creating layered movement over the light background. The large face preserves longer passages of the pattern, and its rectified edges define a sharply proportioned outline.
At 24x48, the tile establishes broad visual planes and makes the branching veinwork a major part of the room. A polished finish catches light, while V3 shade variation brings noticeable changes among faces instead of strict uniformity. The 9 mm, or 3/8 inch, tile carries ratings for residential light floors, residential and commercial interior walls, shower walls, and backsplashes. These categories encompass specified surfaces in bathrooms, kitchens, and living rooms.
Absorption is limited to 0.5% or less, meeting the ANSI A137.1 definition of impervious porcelain. That limit means the body admits almost no water. The minimum breaking strength is 425 pounds, comfortably beyond the 250-pound floor-tile standard. Frost resistance and resistance to thermal shock are also part of its performance profile.
Sales are by the box, although the displayed price is per square foot. Two pieces yield 15.49 square feet, and each full box weighs 67 pounds. Related White formats include 12x24 and 24x24 tile, the 3 inch hexagon mosaic, and the craft hexagon mosaic.
