Travertine · Wall-Mount sink
Red travertine, honed and filled
This wall-mount sink is carved from a single block of red travertine quarried in Turkey. It measures 30 inches long, 16 inches wide and 8 inches high, and its warm terracotta tones and natural veining are particular to the block it came from. Each piece is a one-of-a-kind sink, with the earthy warmth of a stone shaped over geological time.
Design
Terracotta tones, a filled surface
The finish is honed and filled. Honing gives a smooth, matte face, and filling reduces the look of the natural pitting in travertine while keeping the stone's texture and depth. The result shows real stone character with fewer surface voids to catch dirt or water. The red ranges from rust to soft terracotta, and moderate color variation between pieces is normal. The edges are curved and the surfaces smooth, with no hard angles to trap soap residue or mineral deposits. The style is modern: a clean rectangle that lets the color of the stone lead.

Where to use it
Floor space reclaimed
Hung on the wall, the sink frees the floor in a powder room, a primary bath or a guest bath, and lets light and space move under it where a vanity would close the room in. With proper support, it can also be set on a vanity top. At 30 inches long, it gives a proportioned basin for everyday use. The warm red sits well with matte black, satin gold or bright chrome fittings. The sink has three faucet holes, so single-hole and widespread faucets both work, and a 1.5 inch drain for standard plumbing.
Size
30" L × 16" W × 8" H, solid red travertine.
Faucet and drain
Three faucet holes and a 1.5 inch drain.
Installation
Solid backing for heavy stone
Travertine is heavy, so the wall needs blocking between the studs at the mounting height before the sink goes up, ideally while the wall is open. The faucet goes in the drilled holes on the sink, so the supply lines come up from below; their position should match the sink before the wall is closed. Above a vanity, the top must be flat, level and strong. A professional installer is recommended.
Why we chose it

Made to order
Made to order
This sink is made to order on two schedules: the 3 to 4 week option ships sooner, while the 8 to 14 week option is the lower-priced choice. Both are the same honed and filled 30 by 16 inch sink. It can also be made in a custom size or finish. To start a custom order, contact us with the measurements of the wall.
Care
Travertine is a porous calcite stone, so acidic liquids can etch it and sealing keeps water out. How often it is resealed depends on use, often about once a year.
