Product Description
Sculpture Gold in a 4 inch matte porcelain mosaic forms a hexagon pattern with warm gold veining over a white marble look. Its six sided geometry divides the bold Calacatta Gold character into defined shapes, giving the organic vein movement a crisp geometric framework.
The 4 inch scale reads more openly than a small square mosaic while still creating a detailed field of repeated joints. A matte finish holds down reflections, and V3 shade variation allows noticeable changes in tone and veining from piece to piece. Rated applications include kitchen backsplashes, residential interior walls, shower walls, shower floors, and bathroom floors and walls.
Absorption is limited to 0.5% or less, which makes the porcelain impervious under ANSI A137.1. That threshold means the material takes in almost no water and resists staining from within. A breaking strength of at least 425 pounds exceeds the 250 pound ANSI floor tile benchmark. The mosaic also resists frost and thermal shock.
Sheets are the sales unit, with each one covering 0.89 square feet. A box holds 5 sheets and has an 18 pound weight. Other Sculpture Gold options comprise 12x24 and 24x48 tiles, a 2x2 mosaic, and a 4x12 bullnose, extending the same gold veined surface into larger formats and edge trim.
