Product Description
Sculpture Gold comes as a 24x48 matte porcelain tile with a white marble appearance and broad gold toned veins. The pattern draws from Calacatta Gold, balancing an open white background with warm, assertive movement. Rectified edges reinforce the long, architectural outline of each panel.
At 24x48, the large format presents more of the veining on each piece and produces a broad visual scale in bathrooms, kitchens, and living rooms. Its matte surface limits glare, while V3 variation creates clearly noticeable shifts among tiles. Ratings cover residential and commercial interior floors and walls, shower walls, backsplashes, and light residential floor areas.
With water absorption no greater than 0.5%, this impervious porcelain absorbs almost no water, an important characteristic in wet rooms. Its breaking strength reaches at least 425 pounds, compared with the 250 pound ANSI A137.1 minimum for floor tile. Resistance to both frost and thermal shock adds measured performance against temperature related stress.
Sold by the box and priced per square foot, this format provides 15.49 square feet from 2 pieces. A full box weighs 67 pounds. Additional Sculpture Gold formats include the 12x24 tile, 2x2 mosaic, 4 inch hexagon mosaic, and 4x12 bullnose, allowing the same marble pattern to continue across different surface scales.
