Product Description
Sculpture Gold is a 2x2 polished porcelain mosaic patterned with warm gold veins over a white marble background. Its small squares reinterpret the broad Calacatta Gold effect as a finely segmented surface. The polish intensifies contrast and gives each compact piece a light responsive face.
Because the pattern is divided into 2x2 units, the surface has a denser grid and more frequent visual breaks than a field tile. V3 variation keeps tone and veining noticeably different across the sheet, while the polished finish increases reflected light. Its ratings cover backsplashes, shower walls, and residential interior walls in kitchens and bathrooms.
An absorption rate of 0.5% or less meets the ANSI A137.1 definition for impervious porcelain. In everyday terms, almost no water penetrates the material, preventing stains from developing inside the body. Its breaking strength is at least 425 pounds, versus the 250 pound ANSI baseline for floor tile. Frost resistance and thermal shock resistance complete the available technical characteristics.
This mosaic is sold one sheet at a time, with 0.97 square feet of coverage per sheet. A 38 pound box contains 10 sheets. Other formats carrying the Sculpture Gold pattern are the 12x24 tile, 24x48 tile, 4 inch hexagon mosaic, and 4x12 bullnose, providing broader fields, geometric detail, and matching trim.
